I had a buyer leave 'positive' feedback with a negative comment that inaccurately stated the items I was selling were used and dusty. When looking at their feedback page it's obvious they are either auto-filling the negative comment or purposefully leaving the same comment on every purchase they've made from multiple sellers over the past 6 months. After blocking and reporting the buyer I contacted support via chat and they request the feedback to be removed. DENIED TWICE, Ebay states that's the customers experience and that it's valid and they won't remove it. When it's so blatantly clear this is inaccurate, this seems like the ONE time feedback should be removed. I understand it's still technically 'positive' but it's offensive and misleading to future potential buyers. Any tips for how to get this resolved if the customer continues to not respond to my request to edit??

POOF, THE NEG IS GONE! The comment stays but the rating has been changed to positive. PLEASE send me the buyer's user name in a private message so I can put them on my blocked buyer list.

Did you respond to the feedback using the "Respond to Feedback" option? There's probably not much else you can do.

Hi, I've found if you don't use the "chat" line and wait in to talk to a human they are much more understanding and responsive.

They could have left a negative which you would have been stuck with.
Most buyers won't even notice it.

Very few prospective buyers read positive feedback. But by leaving a response, attention may be directed to the comment that otherwise would have gone unheeded.

That's my ultimate fear. We all read the most negative comments to make sure we are buying items that match the description. Doesn't help having someone say your items are old and dusty...

I did, although they don't seem very attentive... We tried!

Ebay CS is a waste of time and energy.

The OP stated that the buyer left positive feedback, not negative feedback.
