A buyer is returning a coin because of a defect that he has found that didn't show up in the picture. I have never heard of the defect and he tried to take a picture of it but couldn't . So he gets a full refund? I don't mind getting the coin back, but it sure seems easy to get all your money back if you don't want it, Do I have any recourse?

No, there is little recourse other than to get down on your knees and pray to Baby Jesus that you get the coin you actually sold returned.

If you sell long enough this will eventually happen. If the buyer opened a NAD case with eBay you don't have much recourse other than to accept the return and fully refund the buyer once you have the item back. Do NOT refund before. As m60drvr mentioned hopefully you get back the same item you sent. You may want to take a look at the eBay MBG, it won't take you long to figure out that it is HIGHLY tilted in the buyers favor.

You have to refund this buyer. Wonder what his feedback was. Did you check?
Let's hope the return is the coin and not an empty box.

You are selling on a platform which offers a money back guarantee to every buyer. So yes, a buyer can get a full refund and no there is no recourse. That's simply a part of online selling. Best of luck to you....
