Buyer picking up item

Hello! Ebay Community. I had a question about Ebay buyers picking up the item. 

Do buyers pay for the item before pick up and what should I be aware of when buyers come to pick up the item? Thank you! Any tips are appreciated about buyers picking up an item.

A buyer can pay before pickup or upon pickup... whichever. The only tip I can offer is to use the QR code (when the item is  picked up) that is sent to the buyer by eBay so that you can prove  pickup.

You should do the pickup at the police department for your own safety.   Nowadays you cannot be too careful.

As Already posted, you must get the QR code from the buyer before you give them the item. You must enter that code into eBay. This proves the buyer picked up the item, if you don’t the buyer can claim they never got the item and will get a refund from ebay.
