Has anyone had this happen before? It's 2am so I can't call eBay. The buyer opened a INR request and escalated it immediately. It didn't even give me a chance to upload the tracking number or respond to the case and then found in the buyers favor.
Why would eBay allow this to happen? The buyer has never once contacted me.
The case outcome says "The case was decided in the buyer's favor. For more information about this case, please refer to the email we sent you." There is nothing at all said in any emails sent to me.
We reviewed this case and decided to issue the buyer a full refund
The refund amount will be recovered from you by eBay.

I feel for you if the item was delivered. I just had the opposite happen to me. Item not delivered, bogus tracking number verified by my local PO. Weird item numbers, weird profile. Opened a case, just now saw it was closed in the sellers favor, no item for me and no refund. I will start a thread with details tomorrow when I am a bit calmed down. Right now I just want to cry.

if you get proof from your local PO that the item was delivered to a different address then eBay will overturn it if you show them the proof
