Buyer is asking for my PayPal mail address

Hello! I am not a professional sales person, but I know that eBay checkout is pretty simple these days, so it seems sketchy to me when someone asks for my PayPal info. Do they need that? Shouldn't eBay checkout handle all that?

That is sketchy. Those kinds of messages are always scams. Just ignore them.

No. They are hoping to send you fake payment notifications directing you to ship before funds will be deposited in your account. Of course no such funds will ever appear.

I don't see any Sold items listed under your posting account here, but it sounds like you have hooked up with a scammer, so don't expect payment anytime soon. After 4 days from the sale, you can cancel using the reason of "Buyer did not pay."

Scammers target newbies hoping to get away with their scams. I'm glad you caught this and you should feel free to come back if you have more questions.
