How do I know? If a buyer is bidding on my items, how do I know if they have a defect/strike (whatever it's officially called)... does it show up next to their feedback score/name?!

@dairywyfe No but you can research their Feedback history and read what others have said as well as what they have said to other Sellers. You can also go to your Site Preferences - Buyer Requirements and there is a setting to block Buyers with "x" number of strikes / defects within the last "y" number of months.

Buyer defects don't show at all. But, if you have your seller preferences set to exclude buyers from bidding or buying your items, you'll see it.

IF you have your buyer block for 2 unpaid item strikes in one year, which is the strictest setting and most use it, then they will automatically be stopped from bidding. There is no way for you to see if they have any strikes, other than possibly checking your buyer's log history to see if they have been blocked from bidding. But at that point, it is a moot point because the block did what it was intended to do.

You can check bid retractions, though, which show in the buyer's feedback profile. Click on feedback as a buyer, and the number of bid retractions shows on the right side, just before the feedback comments start.
Hope this helps.
