Buyer changing address after purchase

I am sorry if this is long but I am trying to include all details to make it clear what happened. I had an item up where I wasn't accepting offers but I got a message from a buyer asking me to take a little off and I told them I would change it to accept offers and they should send me an offer after I did. On the auction I had USPS parcel select ground as the shipping option. I accepted the offer on my phone app without noticing they had a message attached to it asking me to please upgrade shipping to USPS Priority Mail. They then sent me a message asking me to be sure to mail it Priority because they were moving out west in 5 days and wanted to be sure they got it before then. I then looked on shipping details and they had changed the address from what it was when they bought it (which was in Georgia) to the new western address (which is out west). So when I told them I could just wait and send it ground to the new address they then ask me to send it to the new address Priority because they need it there by Tuesday for some reason. Either way if I ship it Ground or Priority I know from experience it costs more to send to the new address (quite a bit more with Priority) than the old. I know I can cancel the order but am afraid of bad feedback and even more afraid of a defect on my record for canceling. Has anyone had any experience with this and can you tell me what to do?  Thank you very much.

Advise your buyer you would have to cancel their payment. They then can repay with the address they want it shipped to.  You lose protection if you send it any other place than where eBay said to.

Smells fishy.  When they change address and need it right away.   Classic scam in the making.

Yep. Cancel the order and relist for the buyer to purchase correctly... with the correct address. Proceed with caution.

Easy.

Cancel the sale. Reason: Problem with buyers address.

Re-list the item.

Advise the buyer he has to correct his address with ebay first,

then re-purchase the item.

I read this, but am not clear about that "address change" request part.

Did the buyer request a different shipping address "after they paid"? , or did they provide a "different address at checkout when the paid"  than the one where you thought you would be sending it when "the offer" was made.

The buyer can't "change" the shipping address after they pay.

You need to ship it to the address provided by eBay at the time of payment.  Sounds like the buyer did change his address before he paid?  So now it cost more to send it?
