So i had a buyer pay for something that i shipped. After i shipped he asked me to cancel his order. I told him it had already shipped and then he says fine if it works I'll keep it. Of course, now that he got it. he is saying it doesn't work and is requesting a return. Is there anything i can do to help myself. It was an xbox without any cables or controllers. Should i ask him to send me a picture of it connected? To make sure he at least has the cords and tried it out? Or am i out of luck and just need to take the return. This package was also insured so can i ask the post office to step in?

I agree with inHawaii, that if the buyer says it doesn't work, then you will have to take the return. But, you could call ebay and try to plead your case, asking them to look at the buyer's original request to cancel before he even received it. Of course it is too much of a coincidence, but the only way out of this is to try to appeal to ebay. Good luck.

I hate to say it, but if he says it doesn't work, you'll have to take it back.

Yeah deep down I know both of you guys are right. It still **bleep** me off to no end though. Hopefully if i just accept the return instead of arguing it will arrive in working condition so I can resell and recoup some losses.
