Buyer Received item, USPS didn’t mark item delivered…

So my buyer bought an item from me worth a lot, it was supposed to go out on delivery on Wednesday. Thursday morning I get a notification that it is delayed and it won’t be delivered till next business day. Friday usps tracking says the same thing. Buyer tells me that they did receive the item. What do I do from here? I can’t get my money till it’s marked delivered…

You do nothing and wait for eBay to release the funds.

For new/infrequent sellers payments are generally held for 30 days.

I would start a missing mail search on USPS website. That often results in an item like that being marked as delivered.

Assuming the buyer has no issues with the item Ebay will release the hold on your funds eventually regardless of the tracking. Although they may hold the funds for the full 30 days or whatever your new account is currently subject to.

I have received many packages that were never marked delivered.   Never contact a buyer and ask about that. You don't want give them any ideas.

Have you sold anything before September 2nd?

If not...funds are on hold until November 2nd or so.

Tracking has nothing to do with it I believe.

Your money is on hold because you're a new seller.

Your money is not on hold because there is no delivery scan.

I have had many packages not get a delivery scan and it had no effect on my money.

I suspect it not uncommon  new/infrequent sellers, may wish funds to be released more quickly
Wouldn't a sooner release result in less interest money being earned on ebay held funds ?

eBay says my funds are on hold until September 25th but may be held long if they cannot confirm delivery… I’m unsure exactly what that means. When I reached out to the customer after seeing that usps says it should arrive in one more business day. The customer said they received the item two days ago. Typically I get my funds immediately after my packages are marked delivered
