Buyer Listed Bad Address

Greetings All! A buyer purchased an item and supplied an address that was bad. The item could not be delivered due to "INSUFFICIENT ADDRESS" and now has the status of "RETURN TO SENDER PROCESSED". Don't know what the problem is with the address, and have not heard back from the buyer after emailing advisory that the item is coming back. What is the best course of action if this buyer never does respond back, refund item cost minus shipping? And is there a correct order of steps to follow to avoid problems?

Wait to see if you actually get it back. Between USPS and weather problems. Who knows.

 

If you get it back, verify with the buyer regarding address. If it was correct, I believe the PO will redeliver it. If it’s the wrong address, refund minus shipping and fees. If the buyer wants it, they will need to buy it again with the correct address.


Everyone has options. Just be sure the best option is right for you.
