When it rains, it pours, and this is my second problem of the day and any help would be wonderful!
I sold a transformer last night, notified by paypal, but when I checked ebay, there was no notification the item had sold. I checked my sold items, and then noticed it was still active, so I went in to revise it, thinking maybe there was something wrong with the listing and the buyer changed their mind. Then I went to paypal and saw the payment was marked as "reversed", which I've never had happen.
Today the same buyer buys the item. About 2 hours go by and they send a message saying to contact them because 'I charged them twice'. I told them to contact Paypal before I print any labels, because I clearly didn't have 2x their money in my possesion. I sent them screen shots of the original paypal transactions and reversals. I have yet to hear back, and can't help, but feel like they are trying to have me refund and send the item for free!
Is this a scam, or an ebay, paypal system problem?
