Buy Requested A return with Negative Feedback And eBay will Not Remove It.

Here is the buyers negative feedback comment.

'These size 10 are too tight. Fit me like a 8 need to return please'

Why does eBay refuse to remove this?

I was going to suggest leaving a professional reply like:

Sorry to hear they didn't fit - we provide measurements in every listing. We also offer hassle-free 30 day returns. Please open a return request and contact us if you need help.

But I see it's already too late for that. FYI: Replies to feedback are for future customers looking at your feedback to see how you handle situations that come up. It's not to put down your buyer.

Your buyer is told on the feedback page they can use the space to leave a product review which is what they did and why eBay won't remove it.

If the seller does offer returns and accepts the return, will eBay consider removing it?

If the buyer opens a return and ships the item back and the return is closed with a refund: yes, the FB will be automatically removed because of protections offered on free returns.

@costkos You do offer 30-day returns, did you instruct your buyer to open up a return request? 

I am assuming there has been no return initiated.

You can report the feedback you left for the buyer and I'm sure they'll remove it.
