Bulk editing descriptions

I am trying to bulk edit some descriptions but every time I try nothing happens.  I have tried from 2 - 200 listings at a time.

I am specifically trying to use the "find and replace" feature that is shown.  

Anyone have any luck with this?  It used to work in the old editing system.

I just used it the other day several times. I found I had typed "just goes one" when I meant to type "just goes on". Did 50 at a time several times. No problems.

What specifically are you trying to change and to what are you trying to change it? I have found that the use or non-use of capitals and punctuation can mess it up. Are you changing plain text or html text?

Can you give an example and at least one specific listing? Only way we can advise further.

I have found that "find and replace" doesn't work if what you are trying to replace has 2 paragraphs, or in other words, a space between lines. So when you pick the "find" portion of your description, just select one paragraph at a time. Good luck.

When I try to use it, some times it works and some times it will not change anything. Just keep trying. Might have to wait til the next day.
