Bulk Editing Handling Time

I am planning on taking a few days vacation next week.

I tried to bulk edit my listing to extend my handling time, but handling time no longer in the bulk edit list.

Am I missing something?

If you use desktop computer it is very simple to do.

Go to ACTIVE LISTING (select items) click EDIT.   When  you are in the edit screen click on BULK EDIT, HANDLING TIME (select days for handling time), SAVE CHANGES.

I think you have to add it as a new Shipping Policy. For example, Flat:USPS First Class ($X.XX), 5 business days. Customize your columns for the bulk edit, if need be. Fingers crossed... 🤞

They can't be serious!!

When I try to add 2 day handling, it wants me to set up everything for shipping. Carrier, cost and I have a bunch of different ones in my listings.  Do I have to set up the handling time for each one with the cost and carrier??

How is this quick and easy???

I don't understand these changes that make things more difficult and time consuming.

It would be quicker for me just to go into each listing and just change the handling time instead of setting all the garbage up!

It worked great the way it was, quick and easy.

If you don't use business policies already then you wouldn't set it up in business policies.

The instructions that @caldreamer gave for changing it on the bulk edit page should work.

If you use the time away function, doesn't that automatically increase handling time?

Probably easier just to make the listings unavailable when you go on vacation.

It used to be easy like that, but the handling time is no long there in bulk edit. It used to be under delivery, but as you can see from the picture, it's no longer there. Handling Time Missing.png

I see it under delivery when I go to bulk edit so you must be using shipping policies.

Is it an option when you click on shipping policies in bulk edit?

Sorry, but I'm not using shipping policy.

I have two selling accounts, it's there under my other account in bulk edit, but not this one.

I've used it plenty of times in the past, but it's just not there now.

I didn't want to use time away since I will be back in the office on Tuesday.

I will dink with it then to see if I can figure out what's going on.

I played around with it and here's what I get when I tick Shipping Policies... you gotta take a stand.

That's odd. I don't use them either and do not have shipping policy on my edit list like you do.

Is it possible that you opted in without realizing it? I know that is probably not what happened but I'm stumped.  Good luck with figuring it out and have a great weekend.

I did. And just like Grandma said... "Once you're pickled, you can never be a cucumber again." 😐
