Just recently our eBay generated packing slips have been printing blurry (see photo below). When viewing them on-screen, they look perfect. We print from eBay's pop-up packing slip and have done so for a long time without issue. What I call the global info of the page; url, date stamp, etc... print crystal clear. The embedded portion such as the customer info, our name/addy, the purchase info and thank you message are all blurry. For what it's worth, a saved PDF is crystal clear and still prints blurry.
I tried rebooting everything.... no go. I tried printing from a pdf... no go. I downloaded a second pdf viewer.... no go. It is positively the nested info in the download that is "corrupting."
What's up and how do I fix this? Is it something I'm doing.... our system, browser (Mozilla), etc.... Nothing screams amateur/non-professional like a **bleep** looking document and we send a packing slip with every order, big or small. Some guidance would be appreciated.
Thanks
Pete

It's a double print, your heads aren't aligned anymore.
I had to replace my printer this week too. Guess I shouldn't complain, it was 20+ years old and served me well. I got the same printer 20+ years newer.

What version of Firefox are you using? I printed five packing slips today on the most recent version of Firefox and they all came out just fine.

They're printing out fine for me, too - I can't find anything that would prompt the pre-fill to print clearly yet the rest come out in a blur, particularly after being successfully copied to a pdf file. 🤔

Try reinstalling the printer driver. Might be corrupted or something. Also, is this just with packing slips? No blurriness printing other things?
Can also try a different browser, but if you're getting the issue as a PDF. The browser is probably fine. But different browser or Firefox in clean mode or whatever it's called (runs with no add-ons) would be an easy test.

I remember that blur well. In my case, it was the backs of the label paper sliding around in the printer…..too slick….

Try buying a modern printer, perhaps a monochrome laser printer. Nothing is meant to last forever.

Or before you blow money on a printer, run the head cleaning app from your PC.

Thing is, it's only part of the text coming out blurry - the pre-fill apparently is all fine. ??

It turned out to be the printer. It's a newer Canon TR4500 series that had been working fine.
I uninstalled it, reinstalled it and no go. I tried other browsers, etc.... no go. I finally went off site and used my home's Canon Pixma Pro 9000 photo printer and it prints as it should.
Go figure.
Thanks for the inputs

FYI: This is a new printer. We bought it less than 6 months ago straight from Canon.

I would suspect everything would be blurry, not just the nested portion.

This is a 6 month old printer. I did the head alignment three times and it hasn't changed. I suspect you are correct though and the printer needs to go. Maybe this time..... I'll spend a little more $$$ and get a better unit. I think this one was dirt cheap, $70ish?.

I disagree with most of the above answers. On my Hewlett Packard printer everything else, including packing slips and text from other companies and businesses, prints just fine. The only problem I have is with ebay packing slips!!! But here's the real kicker: the pre-printed text (Time Placed, Order Number, Total, Sold by, etc.) comes out crystal clear, only my specific information is blurry on the exact same page!!! So, it's not the age of my printer or my printer heads, it has to be something on ebay's end. Why would only (part of) their packing slips print blurry???
