Blocking a buyer while dealing with possible refund.

I recently sold a die cut through an auction to a user who bought another item. After the user won the auction, they requested a better price since they bought a fixed price item as well. I combine shipping, but would never give a better price beyond that as I would be upset as the user who got beat out on said Item.

I told the winning user I could not change prices on items they already agreed to pay, and that if they want I could cancel the sale before they pay. They paid, and again put a message that they would "appreciate a better price on the die cut."

Now they received it, and are claiming the die-cut is "repaired" and creased even though the photos clearly do not show any of that. They appear to be angling for that better price by way of a partial refund. I do not want to deal with this person again, and would like to block them, but am worried they wont be able to complete a refund through me if I block them now, is that the case?

"I'm sorry that you are not happy with the die-cut. You can return it for a full refund." You are not required to haggle a partial refund if you don't want to.

No, the BBL only acts to block future bids or purchases.
