Best Offer Feauture

Why do so few buyers make use of the Best Offer feature? I sell most of my fine art photography books under Buy/Best Offer but very few buyers offer a lower price. Most of those who do underbid drastically (I assume they are resellers). Can someone help me to understand this phenomenon? Thanks.

Because 9 times out of 10 they would not be undervaluing their product. When you ask 2x more than the going rate for the item then ask for best offer buyers won't waste their time with BO. They already know the going rate and can just buy from someone else.

I always undervalue (to market) my books in order to get sales. Most people looking for fine art photo books don't know the market well.
