I've been selling on ebay for over 10 years with a Above Average Rating for my store. I had a string of people 'BUYERS' not paying. So I made the mistake of taking the responsibility and it backfired and went against me. when they did not want the item and did not pay. "I CANCELED THE TRANSACTION AS THE SELLER" I should of marked the box where the BUYER DID NOT WANT THE ITEM ANYMORE, OR COULD NOT PAY. Or brought it to ebay case claim. ONCE YOU CANCEL THE TRANSACTION AS THE SELLER your percentage of transactions get screwed up giving you a BAD percentage. I WAS NOT AWARE OF THIS. "I DIDN'T THINK ANYTHING OF IT WHEN PEOPLE DIDN'T PAY' I would notify them. I WAS JUST TRYING TO GET MY SELLING FEES BACK.. Lesson Learned.. Wrong road to take. As sellers be careful and look out for this.." DON'T DO WHAT I DID" I'm hoping ebay will help me out? But I'm just giving you guys the heads up so this doesn't not happen to you.

Sorry this happened to your account.
Whereas I realize that eBay's rules change a lot, eBay doesn't always communicate well, and eBay's rules are as complex as the maze from the Shining... on this point, I believe eBay has been quite clear about seller defects for canceling a transaction.
So, again, sorry it happened ... you need to get your account back in good standing.
As you may now realize, for an unpaid item, the proper response is to file an Unpaid Item Case.

I did something similar about a year ago. I don't know what I did but it gave me a OUT of STOCK mark !! And I still had the item !! It just wasn't paid for. It's still listed in my seller hub ( AS a OUT of STOCK ) and comes off in April I guess ! Hey live and learn !!

File the unpaid item case. Not only good for you, but helpful to other sellers as it puts a mark on the buyer. Two of those and they may find they cannot buy from a lot of sellers. They can't back out of transactions if they were never allowed to make them in the first place.

1. It appears most of your items are fixed price with BO option. I would strongly suggest you add the IMMEDIATE Payment Option to all your listings. You can add it to your auctions style listing but it would only apply to a Buy It Now option if you elected that feature. We have done this and our unpaid purchases have dropped to zero - unfortunately so have our sales. But people are used to paying at the time of order. If the buyer does not pay your listing remain open to the first paying buyer for the remaining duration of the listing.
I believe some people like to play games on eBay they get a chuckle or high by not paying I guess, but eBay doesn't help matters ' cause they will show the same or similar items to the buyer that are at least the same or lower than what they just bought. Nice of eBay to do this but not to the seller - eBay just simply needs to remember some times "Silence is Golden"
2. It appears you have been a member since 1999 possibly a seller for less time and if you have not ever opened & properly closed an Unpaid Item (UPI) case for what every period you have sold - you have left a ton of eBay FVF fee credits and PayPal service charges (2.9%) on the table - the PayPal 30 cent transaction is not refundable. In other words you can't recover them not even a Yankee Dime. Most people have never hear of that. But I will always wager a Yankee Dime, with the right person, 'cause when you lose you still will win. https://www.google.com/search?source=hp&ei=v8R2XNiRG4ue_Qa-oZO4Ag&q=yankee+dime+meaning&oq=yankee+di...
3. eBay has had the UPI policy of FVF and PayPal fees around since I started selling on eBay 2010. and probably before.

I just started on ebay and have had about 4 scam buyers by trying to take the transaction out of ebay. I think I am going to close my account because this is a shame that I cannot sell online without these thieves trying to steal stuff.

Yup, that is true! I think that they should have other reasons for cancellation....

This is why when someone makes a purchase on ebay, they should be required to pay immediately. This nonsense of having to chase buyers for your money has been ridiculous for years. I can not think of another instance where you buy on line and don't have to pay immediately.
