Had about 55 items that expired and need to be re-listed. I usually so this by "Sell Similar" in bulk.
Just happened to notice that eBay was going to charge me $20 or so in listing fees so I cancelled and backed out.
Checked the number of listings I have left on my store account and have plenty left, so it's not that I have hit my monthly maximum for free listings.
If I relist each item one at a time, $0 listing fees are due/charged (as it should be). But, if I re-list in bulk I get dinged $.20 every item. Huh? Say what?
Anyone else running into this? Anybody relisting in bulk, you might want to double-check the listing fees projected to be charged before you hit "List."

I asked to speak with tech support but CS has repeatedly said to me that is no longer an option. They can submit a ticket to have your account looked into but you cant talk to them or be notified directly once they look at it if they ever do.
Probably because they can't forward you to an international call lol
Pretty sure tech support is mostly outsourced.

I had the same issue a couple weeks back

We were able to relist our items finally without fees just by taking the chance even though it kept prompting us with a fee amount. When we went to relist in bulk , it was showing at first that we would get charged a bunch of fees even though we still had plenty of items left in free listings for our store. However we just went ahead and submitted and the charges ended up being $0. We've never had this problem before but it seems something isn't calculating the fees properly until you submit. We tried just the fixed priced items so far.
Hopefully they get it figured out because it was nice to be able to see what the fee amount before pressing the submit button.

When I called CS Friday night they said it was a glitch that could take from 3 days to 2 weeks to get fixed. CS had even tried to relist for me and kept seeing the fees even know I have over 500 free ones left in auction listings. They offered to do it for me while I was on the phone the one at a time way, but I said I would just do it myself because their wasn't that many to do. I will be calling and making them do in a day because I'll have 150 to relist. Hopefully this gets fixed ASAP.

I hvae nothing to add, I just wanted everybody to see that the glitch is in the presentation, not in the actual fees being charged.

Thank you for posting this- I'm having the exact same problem. I will try listing and see if final fees come up zero. What a pain!!

Following up to confirm the same as others: it shows me I will be charged a fee, and then when I do "final submit," the fee drops to $0.00.
I checked my account and no new listing fees, either. Whew.

Happened to me last night but I submitted them anyway. It ended up showing $0.00 after it confirmed listing them.

Check your seller dashboard to see how many promotional listings you have "used/allotted" - for me it was 0/250 starting Sept 1, 2017. So I bit the bullet despite both the "estimate fees" being $15.65 and the pop up box which also said I would be charged $15.65. (Usually this box comes up and it'll show $0.00 even if the first calculation shows a positive amount.)
After I hit submit and agreed to the fees it showed this:

I recently relisted about 65 items on 11-19, sent offer of 100 FREE listing, auction style. I mistakenly listed them as good till cancelled (I did not have ANY more FREE listing in the my allotted 50 each month). I went through the motions of listing the items, THERE WAS NO MENTION OF ANY FEES, before I hit the button to submit. If I'd seen the fees for this transaction, I WOULD NEVER have hit submit button. So, I didn't think anything of what I had just done. I pay close attention to whether I am being charged a fee or not and I assure you there $00.00 fees stated. And, because my invoices are always quite small, I saw no need to check my invoice, till this a.m. when I got my Nov. invoice, with a total fee of $94.00! I was shocked! I called eBay and they told me they'd have "to have a think" about whether or not they'd refund my monies. That shocked me even more since I listed the items without full knowledge of whether there were fees involved or not. BIG GLITCH IN THEIR SYSTEM! If they don't refund my $94, I am sunk. I don't sell much on eBay, so this is a very big hit!! I am seriously considering closing all my user ids, of which there are 4. I've been selling on eBay since its inception, over 20 years! I honestly hope they realize there is a glitch in their system and refund my money. But, I am also "honestly" not too optimistic at this point. God, I hate groveling with this company!!!! Argh

The insertion fees for 65 listings would have been (65 x $.35=) only $22.75, so I can't figure out where the rest of the $94 came from. Maybe at least part of it was final value fees?
