Is it a problem to send the buyer a picture of the parcel with his address, a picture that appears to be ready to ship before shipping?

@super_goods_599 wrote:@mtgraves7984 @ckimodog I was in a friendly conversation with him because I thought I wanted to announce that the order was ready to ship tomorrow.
But I wanted to know if it could be a problem for eBay. This is because sending a picture of the parcel with the phone number is not done in the emails.
So could that be a problem for my account?
In answer to your last question... you can ask the buyer for their email once you have an Order. No worries.
Edit to add: I still think it's curious as to why this would be necessary. Please expand...

It's a bit of a problem for the seller, but not that much an imposition, I suppose. What would be the reason to?

Why?
That's just reinventing the wheel.
If you are using a shipping label, the buyer will be sent notification by the shipping company.
If you are using letterpost, you can't buy a label online, but the shipment is not tracked anyway.
It might confuse the customer which is not a Good Thing. And it might, with LetterPost, tell a sketchey buyer that you will not be able to prove delivery, leading to a false claim.

It's not a problem ... but WHY would you want to do that?

This is a very weird request. But if customer has purchased item you can send photo. Click on ORDERS, CONTACT BUYER.

All the buyer really needs is a tracking number once you've printed shipping label and ebay notifies the buyer that their item is on the way. No need to send a picture.

Don't know what good it would do, it wouldn't prove anything.

Sound fishy. Maybe trying to intercept the item and have it shipped else were.
What method of shipping is this using??

It is 100% pointless. Makes no sense what-so-ever.

Some buyers may interpret that as you don't trust them. Not a good idea.
