As far as I know "Aunt Jemima" anything is not allowed.

If you see some currently listed it's because they haven't been caught and removed yet.

The explanation is that eBay's policy on "offensive" items is ambiguous, with plenty of eraser language, and is arbitrarily enforced, mostly by bots.   This is true of every  category of "restricted" items on eBay, not just this one.

Whatever you do, do not relist the item or list anything similar.  You are now on the bot-radar, and you risk suspension of your account if there are more "violations."

This is just the reality of selling on eBay, because with something like 1.5B items listed and 20M sellers, things slide through that should not and things that are perfectly legit get removed.

This is observation, not defense.

Political correctness has always been a hard thing to define.    AI may be of help there.....

I like how you threw in that "disclaimer" at the end.    😉

Other vendors changed title and description to Pearl Milling Company or Aunt J (will still show up in search for Aunt Jemima).

I just had a Aunt JEMIMA napkin holder pulled but the banks I also see were able to stay listed

IMO, this would be risky to list an item as described above in an attempt to stay under the radar. If one values one's account, they won't list restricted and prohibited items at all
