Bank confirmation

Hello, so i just opened my seller account yesterday, and they it told me to put my bank account number and all that. I proceeded, then after a while when i got my first sold item, ebay is asking me to confirm with micro deposits, but everytime i try doing it it tells me that i cannot verify with this option, so try the log in one. Then my bank account never gets the push notification. My question, is there a way to confirm my bank account? I mean the two methods provided does not seem to work for me. Any third option or i must just suffer with the consequences?

Bank confirmation

Are you using an actual bank account or something like Chime, Etc.? It's relatively easy to confirm.  Is the name and info on your bank account exactly the same is your new ebay account? You shouldn't have sold anything until your account was confirmed.  Another thing is Ebay will hold your money for 30 days so there are no discrepancies with the sale.  You're a brand new seller.  How is it that you have a $660 item up for sale?  Ebay watches new sellers who start off selling high end items right off the bat. Don't be surprised if Ebay doesn't hold those funds either should it sell or  if you even get paid.

Watch out for scammers and sport bidders...they'll bid your item up and then you'll never hear from them again.  I would remove the laptop auction as you asking for a world of trouble and you better accept returns or you'll lose the laptop and the money both.  No returns does not mean "no refunds."  You are starting off on the wrong foot as a seller.

Good luck.

Go here and check you bank information.

Make sure you are using your bank's preferred ACH routing number for online deposits, as it often is different than the one preceding your account number on your checks.

Yes. A mistake on my part. About the bank account, is from Wells Fargo, I think eBay accepted the payment(or payout?) at the start. I thought I was set up until recently when they asked about the micro deposit. And about the big selling starting point, yes is a big risk. eBay did cancel my auctions and made me call support to see how much I was planning to sell. And then everything went okay until the payout. I’ll listen to your advice then, but another question, how could I sell items like these, should I accept PayPal or start with only buy now?

There is no more Paypal.  Auctions for new sellers is big mistake...sorry.  The scammers come out of the wood work and will do everything and anything to steal from you starting with offering you more money than you've asked for, "text me" , add a gift card,  send me your paypal info  to pay you (not allowed) and send to another address.  Please sell that laptop locally if you can.  It's a nice laptop.  I have one myself and have had a Lenovo for over 11 years. Hope I didn't jinx myself.  lol.

As far as payment goes, you know you can get a Walmart Green Dot card and use that exclusively for your Ebay transactions?  I'll give you the link:

https://www.walmart.com/cp/green-dot-prepaid-visa-card/Get a Walmart Green Dot bank account

Use it only for your ebay transactions.  It's free to order on line, provides a bank and routing number and is perfectly legitimate.  I use one for my ebay transactions and a separate one for my other sites.  I have had it for years and no problems.  You'll see ebay accepts as a bank too.  Give it a shot. And PS I do not work for Walmart...lol.

Just  make sure that all the info you provide from your bank matches your Ebay account Exactly.  One letter or initial out of  place an you'll be back to square one.

I wish you well and hopefully you'll get back to selling soon.

All the best.
