Bad sellers

All the years I've bought and sold on eBay, it has gotten worst!!! Sellers don't communicate when you ask them if the item has shipped yet after waiting over a week after I made the purchase. I've gotten to the point I'm going through retailers website's now to purchase stuff rather then eBay. I also have stopped selling on eBay as the fees have gotten so out of hand for the smaller guy who is just selling stuff off and not making a living by selling. I've been using other sources that don't charge an arm and a leg for fees.

Are you writing about items you purchase that are mailed without tracking?  Anything mailed with tracking doesn't need constant babysitting.

The fees on ebay haven't changed much at all since I started selling in 2011.

I'm sorry this happened to you, not all sellers are like that. I try to go over and beyond to help. But, when I ship with a tracking number ebay emails you right away letting you know your item has been shipped, you get the tracking number and you are able to follow it right to your door. So if you asked me I would certainly answer you, but there is no need to send a message from me personally if you did not ask.

@trains_diecast

Are you saying the sellers you buy from do not use tracking ? That automatically comes when a seller prints a label so I do not understand ? Do you know when you go to your buying history it shows tracking that you are suppose to look yourself where the package is ?

You must purchased more items that are urgently needed than I do.

Have never felt the need to ask a seller if the item has been shipped.

I check the last estimated delivery date on the item before I buy.

If the item has not arrived within 3-5 days after that date, I may contact the seller, or I may not.

I would simply open an item not received case in the Resolution Center and let the system take over from there.

So I've been doing it wrong? Fortunately have only had to do this maybe twice in the length of time I've been on eBay.
