I blocked a very annoying buyer who continued to send me unreasonable request.
For Example:
Could they make payments on a $12.95 pair of bluejeans?
Could I do rush shipping?
I saw where this was heading so I blocked them. Why are their messages still getting through?

Once they've asked a question, they can still respond and ask more questions through the same item.
Just ignore.

See if this will work for you. There is a way to block messages:

See Message #2. Blocking buyer communications will not stop a buyer with whom you've already had a dialog. I gather you responded to the buyer's message(s)? Once you do that, the communication block will no longer work. It's my understanding that you must block the member id before you respond.
As well as the above exception, blocking communication from a buyer will stop them only from messaging you through one of you item listings. Blocked buyers can still message you through your feedback page or your My eBay profile page.
Communication also can't be blocked if you and the buyer have consummated a transaction recently. While the policy in this regard is vague, I've read some posts that suggest it may be as long as 90 days. After that time period, the communication block will take effect.

I wouldn't have done that for a couple of reasons.
1. You don't know who the watcher is and may have prevented a different buyer who might have been watching.
2. If you added the ID to your BBL, they cannot bid or buy. (They can still ask questions through their previous question but blocking prevents them from buying.)

Not worth the hassle for a 12.95 pair of jeans that had been listed for about 2 years. It was time for it to end.
