Will EBay get a percentage or charge a fee for doing this? Nothing would surprise me.
ebay should waive the final value fee and all their other many fees on the amount being donated to a charity.

Why is eBay taking away the 30 day grace period for charitable donations? We will be making donations immediately based on sales that may wind up being returns. This makes the donation option feel risky rather than feeling good. I don't understand why this would be created. I see no benefit.

I just saw this and have added it to the list of reasons I won't be selling on ebay. I sold my first item only to be slapped with the realization that eBay makes all the money. They don't have to do any of the work AT ALL and they make almost 40% off my item? Sold an item for $75 and only recieved $43. $10 to a charity that I never approved? How do I know it went anywhere but PayPal and eBay welfare fund (ripoff). First item was my last item. I don't know how anyone can stand for this **bleep**.
