Automated positive feedback not working the way it was described.

They said the system would generate positive fb if everything went ok and the buyer hasn't left fb, and its 7 days after delivery.  I have multiple items that were delivered on time, no issues, no buyer fb left, 9 days or more after their delivery dates, and positive fb hasn't been left.

 

Notcsurprised its not working, as it is a change that is positive for sellers.

I can currently see two automatic feedback ratings you have received when I check the appropriate box and sort your feedback by "most recent", though obviously I cannot know if you have other transactions that are eligible that have not received automatic feedback, or if any that did receive automatic feedback have been replaced by feedback comments from your buyers.

 

It is possible that there is a delay between when a transaction becomes eligible for automatic feedback and when that feedback actually appears.

There may be such a delay, but they never mentioned this in their discussion of the new feature.  Its another unforced error on themselves that makes them look bad.  Either their system isnt working the way they described, or they failed to tell sellers about possible delays that may make such feedback come later than 7 days after delivery of an item.  Its not a small thing to forget to mention when debuting a new feature.

Sorry soh.Maryl, I didn’t mean to tag you directly. I just wanted to comment on this discussion & I am new to posting here & accidentally hit your name & can’t remove it. 

I am missing some feedback too. I have gotten 2 automated. The last automated I got was from a sale 7 days ago. Missing about 5 from 10-12 days ago.  They are exactly the same as the ones I got automatic feedback for: Delivered with tracking, no issues. So there is definitely something wrong.

Everyone needs to remember to have the Automated Feedback box checked on your feedback page to be able to see the auto feedback.

This is feedback that you otherwise would not be receiving.

Not sure why someone with FB of 1040 would be concerned about missing a few feedback.

Because while it may not matter now, it will most certainly matter if they get a negative feedback that can't be removed.  It would significantly affect their feedback percentage.
