I have not, nor would this be something I would even consider trying. But for larger sellers I can see where it might help them.

You are going to need to be more detailed in what happened. Ebay does NOT reduce the price of a listing unless the Seller has signed up to use that tool. So are you saying that Ebay reduced the price of one or more of your listings?
Or are you talking about something completely different when Ebay suggests or recommends a certain price for something? If that is it, that is not what the OP is asking about. Sellers are NOT required to change pricing because Ebay suggests or recommends anything. And yes they are often wrong.
