Auction system error?

Hi all,

I just selling an item via auction and there are only 3 bids in the past 3 hours from the same guy with the same bid price.  It that normal for auction system?  Thanks!

I would say that perhaps the bidder has increased his proxy a couple of times.  The bid amount won't go up until a new bidder enters the game.

This is not unusual...

1 - Bidder sees your items and bids the minimum

2 - Bidder thinks about and decides they actually want to win so they increase their proxy bid

3 - Bidder thinks some more and decides they might not have bid high enough so they once again  increase their proxy bid

Buyers use this because they don't want to babysit, worried they will forget or will not be around when the Auction is ending.
