I put up for Auction 6 lots ( with an initial bid of $ 1) - what will happen when the bids on them exceed the limit of  500$ ?)

The limit is placed on your listing $$s... not your sales $$s. You're good.

It's a listing limit only. Once listed, items can get up with no problems.
