Hi,
I dont currently have any fees in my items which are on sale. Some of the items have been on sale for months.
Just wondering, is there any hidden fee for items that are on sale for very long time? Like 1 year and more.

The items you currently have on sale WILL have fees as soon as they sell.

I know Ebay takes a final fee based on a few parameters. But does Ebay take extra fees based on how long the item was on sale before it was sold?

Your listings can sit unsold for quite a while and not be charged selling fees. eBay gives sellers a certain amount of free listings each month, meaning you are not charged when you list your item for sale and when it relists.
When you make a sale your fees will automatically be deducted from the payment you receive.
If you go over the amount of free listings eBay allows you to have in 30 days, you will be charged insertion fees at the time of listing.
ETA: Your listings are fixed price not auctions.

Oh thats right, my bad, they are fixed price.
So if I got it right: If I stay in the parameters of amount of free listings in my account, I could keep the items on sale as long as I want. And I dont get punished for that with fees later on.

There is no listing fee, just a final value fee once the item sells. If your items are for sale for a very long time then you should make some changes so they sell faster. Here are some suggestions.
1. Lower the price
2. Take better pictures
3 Write a better description

You pay a FVF when and if the item sells.
