Hello,
Im semi-new to selling. My accound is about 2 years old but over that time ive only sold 5-6 items and only recieved posative reviews. In all my experiences so far people always pay within 24hours.
1 week ago i sold a $40 item and never heard from the winner. I sent invoices and messages and heard nothing till I threatened to file a case against them for not paying, then they responded right away. But, since then theve just asked a bunch more questions about the item as if they are deciding if they want it or not. Its now been over a week without the payment and frankly im angry because they sniped the bid last minute by paying $1 more then someone else who wanted it. What should I go about doing?

You may file an Unpaid Item case. Here's a link to the information explaining how and when to file. Be sure you follow the procedures to the letter in order to protect your position.

There are many threads on the discussion board concerning this very situation. Here's one I thought was pretty helpful, but you can search for others that may also contain reliable advice.

I had this happen before as well and I was pretty upset with the outcome . A buyer kept bidding on several of my auctions . Everytime someone else bid she would raise her bid . This went on for about two weeks because every time I added a new listing she would bid on it . At the end of the last auction she had won a total of 138 of my items . I sent her an invoice for over 800 dollars but she never paid it , instead I kept getting excuses until she just stopped communicating altogether . I was angry because not only did she cost me all those sales she also caused a lot of confusion with my sellers fees . E bay thought I had been paid on all those sales and were charging me for them. It was a nightmare . I'd suggest you call e bay and report this buyer . They are only allowed so many non payments before they get suspended . Sorry this happened grrrr . Tulips
