Did you mean:

Auction End Time needs to automatically adjust and display in my local time zone.

Reading up on how to make the auction end time reflect my local time zone instead of PDT, it seems that eBay made an executive decision not to include this feature.

“Listing times on eBay.com are shown in Pacific time. You can view eBay’s official time and a US time zone map to calculate the time in your area.”

You’re asking me to do too much. Seems like a pretty simple code to implement, based on shipping address, or your phone’s location data.

My request is simple. I would like to view any auction end time as it relates to my local time zone. If I’m in the Eastern time zone, I would like to see the auction end time in EST, and not have to consistently do math in my head to figure out what PDT means for my time zone.

Please pass this along to your application developers and fast-track for implementation.

No one here works for eBay or can pass along that suggestion.

You can do that here: https://www.ebay.com/help/policies/member-behavior-policies/unsolicited-idea-submissions-policy?id=4...

Unless you’re in Hawaii, that’s at most 3 hours your need to subtract from your local time…

For US users, sure, but it's also worth keeping in mind that people from around the world shop on ebay.com if they don't have an eBay site specific to their country (and possibly sometimes even if they do).  I just learned the other day about the oddness that is the Australian time zones, and they're not alone in having some really weird configurations.

You have me puzzled... Any auction listing I look at here in the Central Time zone does indeed show its end time as Central, not Pacific. I'm using a Windows 10 desktop and Chrome browser.

@siredwardpopinjay : As that message refers to eBay.com rather than the app, I assume that you're viewing that on a desktop. Is your machine set correctly for the time zone that you're in?

Yes, adding or subtracting 3 can be a real challenge.
