If you have inched your price down to the lowest it is worth to sell for, and it's not a common or high demand item with a lot of seller competition, would you just keep relisting as auction format or BIN format at slightly higher price with or without make an offer at auto accept at slightly lower price?
I was thinking as long as there's no fees, to just keep doing sell similar on 5-day. The reason is, instead of doing 7-day it means the days of the week the auction will end on will change over time so you auto-experiment with different ending days. And doing 5-day instead of 10-day means it's more attractive to buyers as they less days left on average from when the listing was discovered creates more of a sense of urgency as closer to a BIN auction especially if they discover the listing within only a day or so left.

If it is something that is unlikely to attract multiple bidders, it generally is best to put a higher fixed price on it and enable the Best Offer option.

First, I don’t do auctions - BIN only.
As a store owner I have pretty much an unlimited number of items I can list without paying any listing fees.
So I continuously list everything. They automatically renew month after month. It costs me nothing nor does it require any effort. Some things will sell eventually, some things will never sell. BUT it is impossible to know in advance which is which. Not overly frequently but frequently enough something that has been up for a long time will suddenly sell, That would not have happened if I stopped listing it.
