Anyone know what ASSURANT 1 Year Protection is? It appears to be some kind of insurance that can be purchased. I noticed this option on a few of my listings. What is the criterior for the selection of this service on CERTAIN items? and how long has this option been offered on listings without my knowledge? The 2 listings that I noticed this on was a Vintage Ben Pearson recurve bow priced at $115.00 and a pair of Kirk Folly costume jewelry cufflinks priced at $12.99. anyone have a clue about this program? never seen or heard of it before yesterday. Thanks

3rd party warranty like Square Trade.
I think it started appearing in 2015.

thanks for the link, I will read up on it. Thought it strange seeing it on a $12.99 pair of costume jewelry cufflinks. not like they are diamonds. seems very arbitrary the way my items were selected is all. thanks again.

Ebay said it can not be removed, and I should be flattered that my listing was selecting. They think the customer feels secure about the product when there is protection offered. For cuff links however...is ridiculous.
