I'm still working on 2021 reconciliations (for my personal records) that has me plugging in various data into a spreadsheet -- more or less sold amounts, totals collected, shipping paid etc. (My personal spreadsheet preceded the current seller hub "reports" in case you're wondering, yes I on board with using those now! anyway...)
I guess this is going back too far in time to April, May, June 2021, but is there any way to determine what specific auction a shipping label was printed for if the live link is no longer on the eBay invoices page? I tried to cross-reference PayPal (my funding source) but that simply provides a transaction ID that doesn't match anything on eBay. Conversely, eBay shows a tracking# on the order page that does not carry over to the PayPal transaction page.
Thank you for your thoughts!

You don’t need to do that. Just add every category into totals.
Paid for merchandise
Postage
Fees
paper, ink, gas (if you want to bother)
Total money received

As this*old*attic advised it is not necessary to do this for tax purposes you just the totals. If you pull the following report from your seller hub setting the start and end dates for the period you require you will get EVERY bit of information for every sale for the time period specified.

At 56 cents per mile (58.5 for 2022), it can add up to a nice deduction (if you can use it)
The PO is 3 miles away, you go 3 times per week
3 x 2 x 3 x 52 x .56 = 524.16 deduction

Indeed, the seller hub only goes back to the end of October 2021 with detailed reports. I was wondering if there was a way to see detailed shipping prior to that. Unless I am missing something??

The post a little further up shows you how to pull a transaction report. That can be done for a full year using a date range entered when you order the report.
The transaction report can be filtered by shipping labels when ordering and in that report are two fields on the Shipping Label type.
One is the Order Number that you can tie at the order level.
The other is called Legacy Order ID (that is a concatenated field consisting of the Item ID and the Legacy Order Number). That field can be broken in two in excel using text to columns function with the - as the separator to get just the Item Number if you cannot match to the regular order number. Another option is to use the Left Function to pull just the ID.
Hope that helps.
