Reading this board I would love to see some good news or positive seller stories.
So much negativity here. Need a little positive.

You see negativity because Ebay corporate greed ruins this site. They have ruined the sellers. They update with new fees every year increasing their corporate bottom line as ours drops. The only success stories are from Ebay Corporate. The disrespect the sellers in every aspect. I wish Ebay would learn how they could be great but slowly disappearing off the market because of how they treat their sellers.

@shhades Sales have been really slow for me over the past week so not a whole lot of positivity from me. However, the thin icing on the cake is I received several new feedback entries over the past few days so my customers seem happy at least! Hopefully this week sales will pick up again.

Well, I have some positive input. Love the new Seller Hub, especially 1 page format and loading photos. So much faster.
Small seller since 2007, and have had 99.9 % nice buyers. When I had one numpty buyer, I came here and received lots of great help on how to fix it.
Most of the time, I guess we post for help when there is a problem. My business is slow right now, but I attribute it to putting my store on vacation for some health related problems and surgery. Prior to the last two months, I was averaging $800 - $1,000 a month, a real help to supplementing my income. So YES, I have some good news. Best!

That us the nature of the boards 😞 They function as help boards for people with questions and problems.
When everything goes smoothly, like they do 99.9% of the time, we don't hear about it.
My sales are good, my buyers are good ... my transactions have been hassle free and glitch free.
That's boring LOL 😉

@747cable Hope you have recovered nicely from surgery and all is well health-wise. Just wanted to add that I love seller hub too! .. I think we are in the minority here, but the layout and usability is far superior ... I can easily find anything I am looking for on it!

Thank you Klassic. Got out of the hospital Thursday, turned store back on Friday night, and I am listing some today. The surgery was successful, so I am happy but sore and taking it easy. Best!

Agreed. We all need postive. I sure do. Complaints and negativity become an unhealthy habit. I like to try to remember what one of my old college professors used to say: We are all free to disagree, but none of us are free to be disagreeable.
This is just a small thing but it meant a lot to me. A couple of months ago, I noticed that the username for one of my buyers seemed familiar so I checked and I had indeed made a sale to her more than a year earlier. And then I recalled that it had been a difficult transaction. Oh no. But I also recalled that I had kept my cool back then and had handled things as pleasantly as possible. After I shipped the item, I left feedback thanking her for being a return buyer. That's when she sent me a message thanking me and saying that she had come back to buy again because I had been so nice about everything the first time. Nice pays off.....it's just a matter of seeing where to draw the thin line between nice and proper business. I expect I'll see her username in my sales again one day.

Thats a good one. A repeat customer shows that you know what you are doing. And a good seller. Karma.

I've had that since I started selling on ebay - it's called Turbo lister.
My last really good story on ebay was I went to a church sale with a friend and picked up a reprint obscure book for 50 cents (my friend walked past it and she specializes in the subject).
Listed it on ebay for $100 and sold it in 24 hours. Shipped it out and never heard from the buyer again. - Now that is a good selling story on ebay.
Now, in our neck of the woods, one of our thrift shops has a 50 cent sale every Saturday. I've been going and cashing in by buying tons of stuff and selling it everywhere but here. Got $40 for just a sweater last week.
