Are eBay & Scott Cutler truly dedicated to helping sellers grow?

I am a Premium store owner who has outgrown my monthly listing allotment and feel that it is beyond corporate greed to charge me two and a half times my Premium store fee to list above my allotment.  And that is only Buy It Now.  Auctions are priced seven times higher!  I have asked time and again for one or two in-between stores that a seller like me can continue their growth in manageable stages.  The next leap to an Anchor store requires too high of a monthly committment both in listing quantity and fee.   Scott - Please hear my plea and make it one of your high priorities!!  Thanks for listening

Ain't going to happen any time soon, if ever.

Ebay wants every seller to have the highest level  and most expensive store so they have a guaranteed income even if sellers have few sales.

You may want to try to contact Scott Cutler more directly as it is highly improbable that he will see your post.

I have seen this request for an in between store posted before over the years; with no change to Ebay policy.

Sorry.

Probably never going to happen - has as others said - been requested many times - your best solution is to start working on a 2nd store

You should use multi-variation listings. I have a premium store with almost 4000 listings and I still have room for more.

@mrconran  Off-topic but sounds like you might be the perfect person to ask of my question regarding multi-variation listings.  I have done them several times in the past when it's the same exact item just a difference in size, easy peasy to list. However, right now I am sitting on some items same item, same size -- just different color.  Can you tell me how I can list these so the picture of the right color item corresponds with the drop down menu of colors for the buyer to see?

I know it's possible as I have seen other sellers do it when I am shopping for something, however, I do not know how they are doing this.

Any help is appreciated.

Happy 2018! May this upcoming year be a prosperous one!

Hello I take a picture of each item that I list in a variation listing. You can link the pcture to each item in the listing. When the buyer selects an item to veiw the picture of the actual item is displayed. Under the add photo section you can click on default photos. I think that is how  did it.  It is hard to remember. I just do it now, although the first time it was pretty difficult. Once you figure it out you can list items pretty quckly.

Thank you.  I will tinker around with the "default photos" in the listing page of a mutit-variation listing format.  I am finding it challenging to link the right picture (of the right color) with the right color variation.  I'll try to figure it out.  Thanks for the help.

It is a challenge to learn. I am not very good with computers but multivariation listings will let you add a lot of similar items to one listing. I have about 50 variations in one listing. It is one thing Ebay did right. Saves the seller a lot of money in listing fees. I am sure they will charge seller's for it someday soon.

@mrconran  Hi again!  I was just looking at your listings and noticed your pics coorespond in the way that I am trying to do, see here as an example: http://www.ebay.com/itm/ROCK-ISLAND-SPORTS-DAKOTA-BLADES-5-10-CT-SHIPPING-OFFER-/281874609058?var=&h...

How did you get the right picture to coorespond to the right color variable?

Bear with me I am trying to remeber. Under the add pictures section is a use defalt photo's.  I really need to create a listing to remeber all the steps and I am at my house at the moment.

If you click on it it will let you add photos for each item. If not it shows the main photo for all items.

At the photo section click on "add/edit variation photos"

Find "Add variation photos"

Click on it

Don't use "default photo" use the option that relates to what you are selling. Default photo is the main photo of the item/items you are listing.

Now you can add the photo of the item you are selling
