Are Sales Down - or is it just me??

Is it just me or are sales down?  I'm selling the same things I've sold for years, and sales just keep getting lower and lower - just wondering

Nope. Still selling about the same as usual with the caveat that I have way more listings up though.

Down compared to last month, up compared to a year ago.  As the saying goes, "Keep your head down and keep posting."  There's always an ebb and flow to any business, and every category has good times/bad times.

People have been saying sales are down since 2008. If you are saying sales are down from last year I would say NO. If you say sales are down since 5 years ago I would say no. Once the big drop happened sales have been fairly steady so it all depends on your perspective. If each and every month, and each and every year for the last 10 years people have been saying sales are down. If that was true then by now there would be NO sales.

I'm selling more.  The problem is you sell what every party story and baby store sell.  And there are other sites making and selling the  same things but custom printed.

In my opinion, the best way to sell is to add more product lines.

No it's not just you . Sales seem to be down for quite a few people according to some of  the comments I've read . My sales were terrific before Christmas  but after the holidays not  much   action besides  crickets chirping . The curse seems to be slowly lifting with 4 sales since yesterday morning ,, so we shall see . I've always noticed an increase in sales every year starting about the end of Feb . I  think it could be because people have recovered from  the extra Christmas  spending  bills and  some are starting to get their tax refunds as well  . I think sales will begin to improve soon  for most everyone.  Tulips

Sales must be down overall for the site, seeing how ebay keeps tripping over themselves handing out the free listings.

I have not had ONE sale in over two weeks. I've tried lowering prices. Sales are abysmal.  Not sure I want to sell on EBay anymore anyway.  Tired of making USPS, EBay and Pay Pal rich. We'll see.
