Leaving feedback sometimes I see this message
Keep in mind that detailed seller ratings aren't anonymous-sellers can see the individual ratings they receive.
And sometimes I don't.
Anyone else?

Are you getting it when you've checked off either Neutral or Negative?

Just tested it and it shows when I check Positive, Neutral and Negative.
It doesn't happen for all sellers that I've purchased from.

@love*glitter* - Are you leaving less than five stars on any aspects, per chance?
Because what that "warning" is talking about is that it's possible for the seller to review your feedback scoring (star ratings).
Which is true, but it does take a bit of work.

It's all over the board. I checked 4 sellers...
FB of almost 119,000, message doesn't show.
Message shows with FB of
2061
154
1305
Also, it appears before I check any Stars.
I check Positive and the message appears.
Do you think it has anything with my account? It's a year old, but I just started using it.

@love*glitter* - No. As I explained earlier it simply is notification that sellers can review how you rate them (star-wise) if they want to do so.

Yep @tiramisu41, it takes a bit of work alright. I think there may be a "glitch" in the system, still. I've been running reports for a long time and only recently (the last 3 or 4 months) have I had a problem getting the same results using Run Similar, when I am absolutely positive I have just added an Item # to the other Item #'s where the rating came up 5 stars - and the new Item's fb was positive, left by a wonderful repeat buyer.
I even did a new Create a Report with 5 new Item #'s but as someone mentioned the other day, it might be too soon for that rating to show.
I know we need at least 5 DSRs to run the report and eBay even says we can go back 90 days but it's just not working.
I received 5 positive feedbacks today (4 from one buyer who purchased items over a 2-day period, different dates, within the last 3 weeks) and one yesterday and one the day before. All glowing.
I'll wait about a week and do it again.

LIVADIA..
I do not know why you are receving those mssages. I have been here since 2004---and I have never gotten one. Despite the fact thatI I HAVE left just Four Stars on a few purchases in the past.

@garmentvarmint2004 - I'm not getting any messages from anyone. The OP was asking why she occasionally sees the comment: "Keep in mind that detailed seller ratings aren't anonymous-sellers can see the individual ratings they receive." pop up when she is leaving feedback for a seller.
I explained to her that all she's seeing is an advisory that seems to appear randomly letting buyers know that sellers are able to see the star ratings buyers leave for them.
The option/capability for sellers to do so has been around at least since 2014. It's nothing new and shouldn't deter you from leaving whatever honest ratings/comments you think is appropriate for sellers you've made a purchase from.
If for some reason you are uncomfortable/reluctant to leave a star rating on any of the aspects of the sale as you don't want the seller to know you left it, remember feedback is entirely voluntary.
You don't have to leave any feedback at all or you can choose just to do an overall rating (Positive/Neutral/Negative), skip the star part as well as the comments fields if you like. Up to you.

I've seen this same message occasionally and I only leave 5 stars unless the seller
doesn't send the item and doesn't bother to come up with an excuse.
