Had this happen a few times and just happen again today. Customer accidentally orders 10 or 20 of an item instead of 1 or 2. Shortly after they realise and request cancellation.
You get your FVF back but not the fees paid for promoted items. I knows the T&C state that you don't get this back but was wondering if anyone has ever had any luck with seller support making an exception?
I've limited customers to a max of 25 pcs but without that limitation there's potential for a seller to loose 1000s of pounds in fees if a buyers kid is playing with their phone for example, or worse if a competitor wants to damage you

We get our PL standard fee back. No idea on PLA as we do not use.

When you cancel and refund an order, the amount you should see in your transactions should be $0.30 less. And then the $0.30 is released at a later time. My cancels have not cost a penny and in some cases I will block the buyer.

As @katzrul15 mentioned, you do get your promoted listing standard fees back when a sale is cancelled. I believe that it shows as a separate entry and may not be credited immediately.

Sorry but that is incorrect, if you cancel a paid for transaction for any reason the 30 cent transaction fee is NEVER refunded.
If you cancel when no payment has been made there is no 30 cents to refund.

They've refunded me automatically every time for those type of cancellations. The only thing Ive had to ask them to refund it the 30 cent fixed fee, which they've done too. It has taken a few days to see the promoted fee credit but within a week it does shows on the transaction report.

Im sorry but you're the one that's incorrect. This week I've cancelled both before & after payment was received and both were credited minus 30 cents. There are also circumstances when the 30 cents WILL be refunded but only if you reach out to request it. I had a rep tell me that it never hurts to ask & advised me to make it a habit to always request it regardless of way it was cancelled. They said I may or may not get it every time but I'll never know unless I try. I have been refunded at least 80% of the time that I've asked.
