Anyone else having Limits problems recently?

Hi All,

there was such old posts, one from 2014...

From several months I have severe problems with limits (and no help with support or request to increase the limits, "Increase the limit button" lead to "Something wrong page"). Support is purely uselless, they have the same mantra all the time - sell more, so we increase your limits... I sold things over 1200USD, and I still cannot change price and quantitites for six (6) things!!! I cannot imagine if I have big store with 100 or more things to fix.

And say 3-6 months ago, there were not such limits, borders, whatever. Really depressing!

Any solution for this? Should I make new listing, in a new category every time I want to change price or quantity?

Just to add - I am more than 10 years on ebay, more than 11kUSD in sales, all registered, all working fine for all this time... and  now problem that I am just hitting the wall all the time.

Yes, eBay has tightened the reigns on selling limits. The limits have decreased recently.

I remember when I came back to selling fulltime, 4 years ago. I was bumping the limits every month for about 4 months. eBay was allowing me to increase limits every 30 days. It was a pain in the **bleep** to work with, but I worked through it. 

They only allowed me two increases in a month, one time. That was when my account earned TRS status. I called in to eBay and happened to get the right person on the phone in the USA and they knew who to get the approval from and they doubled my limits again in the same month.

Once you start getting the "doubles" on your limits, it only takes a few months and then you have more than you will ever need.

I can imagine how tough it is now with the limited phone support we are seeing from eBay now. Best of luck moving forward.

I do remember having to continually adjust my quantities on multi-quantity listings. It was the item limit that I bumped up against quite a bit.

I had room as far as dollars amounts. 

I would decrease an available quantity on an item in order to be able to list something new.

Finally it was working, because FINALLY I speak with someone from support that can understand the question. Now it comes new problems like have access to bank accounts, full identity confirmation and so on - like ebay did not have already full of our details and not reading all the messages internally... I am a bit tired, frankly. It should be just desk for selling stuff, not an spy agency.
