I have had no issues with login this weekend. Could be a regional issue. I don't see any reason for saying it's time to go.... with the new GTC, keep a store level that makes you money or drop to the no store 50 listing option and list near the EOM the items you want to keep up on site. Run some auctions and call it a day if you don't want to manually manage GTC listings. The only way something is guaranteed to not sell on eBay is if it isn't listed.
My sales right now justify the next store size up which I was planning to do anyway after February - the GTC stuff and some other things distracted me.... I dropped down after Christmas because January and February are very slow periods and I was in process of making some price & shipping changes. Next month I'll put up what I have at the EOM and then I'll spend the energy other sellers are going to spend manually managing their GTC stuff on building other revenue streams outside of the 'Bay.
@true-blue1, I have had that problem with eBay messages for years. It is random as well. Sometimes no issue uploading an image, other times I have to close the message and start over to get the image uploaded. I don't know if it is a file size issue or a time out issue (related to file size), but that would be my guess.
