An analogy for Ebay Promotional Listings

It's Ebay's version of the Disney Fast Pass / Lightning Lanes, but without the guaranteed benefits of Fast Pass/Lightning Lanes.  And I say this because there's no guarantee the increased listings will help your bottom line because of the nature of your specific items, or your prices relative to others, and othe reasons.  They may not even put you into the top 20 for an item, you just don't know how they are going to work out.

But the bottom line is people who pay more money are purchasing spots ahead of others, for exposure, which may work a lot better for some than others, no guarantee.  No matter what, if you don't pay for the Ebay fast pass or lightning lanes, you will be impacted negatively.

You don’t need to promote your listings. It looks like you average about 1 sale a day. Many sellers would kill to average 1 sale per day.

Every thing in life is a gamble.  Some times it works out, some times it does not.  Just keep on posting items for sale.

Good luck on your selling journey!
