All bids on my item are from China even though I clicked boxes to only ship Domestic (north america)

Every single bid on my item are from China even though I have no overseas shipping selected, opted out of the global thing and checked all the boxes of countries I don't ship to.  How are we supposed to use ebay if people we don't sell or ship to keep bidding?

just because the buyer is in China does NOT mean they will want you to ship to China.

These buyers will have a US address to ship to AND if they do not cancel for "problem with buyer address" -

Why?

Do you not like selling things and shipping them within the USA?

They're probably using a freight forwarder. The address will be somewhere in the US, but will then be sent to China. Plus you'll see a foreign transaction fee to boot. There is also a slim chance they're buying a gift for someone in the US.

Semi-related. Had a sale going to Australia recently and I'm 95% certain it'll be forwarded to China. I feel like it'd have been cheaper going straight there. But maybe it's somehow cheaper or faster with the gobetween.

You can block counties that you do not want to sell . We blocked China a long time ago as it was the one place that is a black hole .

I cancel any bids from non-US bidders using a US secondary address. Even if they pay in US dollars, eBay still sticks it to the seller for an extra international and/or currency conversion fee. Shipping is just too much of a hassle. eBay says any item is covered shipping GSP when it reaches the GSP shipping center, but that is apparently no longer true as these boards have many instances of sellers being stiffed by false SNAD/INR cases from non-US buyers. Stay away from these buyers or you may lose both item and money.
