Advice on Buyer returning item

I sold some shoes, buyer says they didn't fit and wanted to return them, I said ok, so he opens up a return and I agree to the return but I assume he chose the wrong reason because there was no way to fund a return label, he left a note claiming I told him I agreed to "obtain return label" I've been waiting on the shoes but I still haven't got them back and the case ends today, is he basically SOL? can he still leave me a negative because of his mistake? I'm assuming he isn't going to be happy when the case is closed in my favor because he never returned the item but It's not really my fault he didn't get a return label.

The case being *closed* in your favor, the buyer can not leave neg FB, if they are able to for some reason it can be removed by calling ebay.

No return received, no refund, so yes buyers is out of luck as far as ebay goes when the case closed in your favor/no return was received/no tracking.

They could open a case via PP, although PP makes the buyer pay return shipping, (unless the buyer signs up for the return shipping special deal PP was offering a while back)

Did you tell the buyer you would pay for a retun label anyway?

Fit is a remorse return and not a snad that forces the seller to issue a return label if they want it back.

The last return request I got had a return ship label option.  But I didn't use it.  If you promised to send them a label, then you should make arrangements for them to ship it back on your dime/OR tell them to return and you will refund theit ship costs when you get it back.  That is one of my favorite and you can use the reason that ebay ship labels aren't accurate.

If you did not promise to send a label, then the buyer will be out of luck soon.  And once the case is found for you, feedback can be removed.

Update on this the buyer is now threatening me with a negative if I don't pay their return shipping mysterious found a "flaw" after things didn't go there way and for some odd reason the case is still open even though it said they only had until the 31st to ship the shoes back, the admitted they wear a size 12 wide yet ordered my size 13 medium shoes because this model of shoes "had fit them in the past", it seems as if they realized they missed their deadline and want ot throw out threats.

Call ebay immediately to have the case closed in your favor because your buyer has passed the deadline to return the item.

Wiith the case closed in your favor, your buyer cannot leave any feedback. After that, you may help your buyer as you or the shoe fits.
