I recently sold a video game and didn’t attach a tracking number on the site but was following the tracking on the USPS Tracking site. I’ve noticed the item was delivered 3 Days ago and still haven’t received the funds. Was the tracking number the reason I haven’t received my payment or is it a he says I say with the buyer on whether or not the item arrived?

It’s mostly because you are a brand new seller.
New sellers can have their funds held for up to 30 days while they build up a reputation. What does the payment status say?

The funds are still on hold with the box above still saying my funds will be available within 24 hours of the buyer receiving their order.

You are a new seller. New and infrequent sellers are subject to having their funds held for up to 30 days. This is to back the Money Back Guarantee that eBay offers to all buyers. This way, if there's a claim filed by the buyer, the funds are there to refund the buyer. You have a NO RETURNS policy, no returns does not mean NO refunds. I would change that policy, as it is part of the MBG. Congrats on your sales!

Adding the tracking number will let eBay know the item has been delivered.
As for your payment, as a new seller eBay can hold your funds for up to 30 days after item has been delivered. All new and infrequent sellers have this done to them. eBay prefers that the money be available until the 30- day Money Back Guarantee has expired.

So can a buyer claim they haven’t received an item and keep their money? If so what does that mean for the seller?

Your last sale was on 5/26, about a week ago. I would not go on the random "bot" notices from eBay. They tend to be faulty. Hopefully it will just be about another week and then you should get your funds.

Until you've been selling for 90 days and sold 25 items your payments will be held until tracking shows delivered, or in 21 days if there's no tracking. They can hold the payment for the full 21 days if you're selling in a high risk category.

It means you need to change your return policy as I suggested in my last reply to you. You need to protect yourself. Scammers are everywhere and because you are a new seller, you are a mega target, especially based on what you are selling. You need to trust the people here who are advising you. They are veteran long time sellers, many since eBay started, who know what they are telling you and don't want to see you get scammed or hurt. Change your return policy.

Well in this case, I added the tracking number really late and when I tap the tracking number in the sale it shows no progress on the delivery vs USPS’ website showing it’s already been delivered. Is it just gonna take a bit for eBay to update it and recognize it’s been delivered?

If a buyer claims they haven’t received an item you are protected as a seller if you add a tracking number showing delivery to the address on the order to the dispute.
If a buyer says they have received an item damaged or the wrong item, they are protected by the Money Back Garantee and you can either send the buyer a return label, get the item back and refund or issue a refund while letting the buyer keep the item.

Yes, sometimes it takes a bit to get the information from USPS and get everything updated on Ebay.

It means that the seller should have uploaded the tracking number as soon as the label was purchased. 😉
If you buy your Shipping label through eBay, you not only get the discounted on-line rate (instead of the retail rate paid at the post office) but also an automatic upload of the tracking number to the Order Details for the sale. You can buy the postage using the held funds from the buyer; there is a selection button for this near the lower left of the Shipping form.
(You can also get discounted on-line postage from other providers such as PayPal/Pirateship, but you will need your own funds to pay for it there. I'm not sure if you can get automatically-uploaded tracking numbers from the other site(s) or whether you would need to do that manually.)
In the past, there was a rule that a tracking number uploaded after the buyer files an Item Not Received dispute would not be counted, but I don't know if that still applies. Nevertheless, the only way that eBay can detect that your package was delivered is via the tracking number, so always always upload that to the sale if it does not happen automatically.

Money is deposited into your bank account 3-5 AFTER sale is made. EBAY holds money for new sellers for 30 days.

Umm - sort of.
Good rule of thumb.
Default is Tuesday transfers, but the bank may not complete the deposit the same day.
If you are paid on Monday, your payment will be transferred on Tuesday.
If you are paid on Wedneday, your payment will be transferred the next Tuesday.
And again, then the bank decides when to complete the deposit.
And while I agree that 30 days is the normal Hold , eBay claims it is only 21 days.
"Until you've been selling for 90 days and sold 25 items your payments will be held until tracking shows delivered, or in 21 days if there's no tracking. They can hold the payment for the full 21 days if you're selling in a high risk category. "
The 30 days seems to be the norm for non-US sellers like me.
And it is important to note that sellers can use Held funds to buy eBay shipping labels.
