Gotta love how they "update" their ad marketing for your listings..just another reason for them to add more fees on your ad rates smh

Except they don't.  For Promoted Listings, sellers decide how much more they are willing to pay in FVFs.  Ebay does not make that determination.

@mam98031  I believe the OP is referring to the recent announcement from the AdsTeam, which says starting March 30th they will charge you your chosen PLS fee on so called Halo items, which they had not done previously. A Halo item is one which is purchased by the buyer 1. within 30 days of the buyer viewing one of your OTHER PLS items AND which 2. is shown to the purchaser as a non-sponsored listing, so long as the listing is in your PLS campaign.

 

So, we can end up paying a PL fee for an item that was never actually  promoted to the buyer.

Yes, this I'm aware of, but they pay the fee that is on the listing the buyer purchased.
