Active eBay listings showing out of stock or ended on external search such as Google

Hello, this is the second time I’ve made a post asking for help with my eBay account. The issue is still ongoing and I am not getting the help I require from eBay, no matter how many times I call them, and how many tickets for the IT team they make.

My ebay account has a disconnect between it and external search such as Google. The problem is as follows- after an item of mine has been listed for 30 days on eBay, and I manually end the item and re list it ( whether I use the re list feature or the sell similar feature) my items do not update to external search. On Google they show as ended, not available or out of stock, even though they are available items for sale. They still show as available through the EBay website and app. But, on Google they show that they are no longer for sale. I have searched my own available items on Google and it’s heartbreaking to see my available items showing as not available for purchase. Needless to say, it’s ruining my business, sales have plummeted. It’s been going on since June. If anyone out there in the IT dept, or the Marketing tech dept can please help me, as I am simply not getting the help I need. At this point I am considering creating a new eBay account- but I don’t want to lose my customer base and my 100% positive feedback history on this account, and start over from scratch.

Here's the problem, when you end the listing and relist it, its now a new listing, and the links from external search engines are no longer valid because the original listing those search engines linked to is now gone. Stop relisting every 30 days and this nonsense will stop.

So I have a question and it’s an honest question- so if I do a Google search and it shows me an item with a link to eBay.com, and I click on that link and it takes me to eBay/eBay site with item and the item says not available, sold out, or it’s not even the correct item that matches the description, who handles that?

That's google showing you a "old" ebay listing listing from when the item was is stock.

It's no longer in stock now, which is why you wont find it on a ebay search.

Thank you for your suggestions, I will keep it all in mind. And thanks for explaining things so well. It has cleared up a few things for me. Though I still think that certain listings in that account had an issue that is not normal.

I am saying that at some point, the relisted and in stock version of that listing should have showed up on Google but it never did.

It was not giving a message to show the item was relisted. It was only showing that the item was ended, not available or out of stock. All these three different phrases were used on various listings. I switched from using the relist feature to the sell similar feature to try to remedy the issue but it did not help. A Google search for these items still only showed that they were not available for sale. No new information or redirect to the new listing.

Is that to say that if you had to end a listing for whatever reason, and you decided to relist it- that you should never expect it to index you Google correctly ever again? Google will forever hold on to the old information that you ended the listing, and never show that newly created listing ? Even perhaps in tandem with the old one? I find that hard to get on board with.
