Active Listing and eBay Store does not show the same count?

On my Active Listing page it says I have 11,203 items for sale. BUT when I go to my eBay store it says 11,252 items.

Why is there a discrepancy in the counts?

Thank you for that. But I still only see 11,203 in my active listing page and in the seller hub summary.

So I guess the question now is why am I not seeing them all when you are?

How can you see another Seller's Active LIstings page.  Do you have his password?

Did you not understand the question?

This is the link to see your own Active Listings page:

If you click on a sellers feedback score it brings up his feeback page. On the right side of that page is a link that says "see items for sale" (or something like that) Click that link and you can see everything that seller has for sale.

Have you recently added listings?
Perhaps they aren't synced up yet?

Have you logged out and back in?
Just suggestions. Could be a glitch.

I haven't added any new listings in a few days. And there were only a few, not enough to account for the difference.

Of course, GTC's are constantly rolling over and with that many listings there are bunches every day.

Interestingl;y, when I clicked my own feedback score and clicked see items for sale (which is what the public would see) it came up with the 11,252.

So apparently the problem is on seller hub, not what the public sees.

You asked about your Active Listings page.  That is on Seller Hub.  And it is private to you.

I understood that from your OP.    The first reply was off on a tangent, not understanding your quesition.  You kind of took the bait on that.  Let's reign it back in.

You were asking about the discrepancy between the eBay.com buyer  site for your store and the total items you see on your Seller Hub Active LIstings Page.

Here is the link for the Active Listings page (each seller will see his own active listings at this link):

Please tell me how you are trying to help him by giving a link to listings. I'm pretty sure he knows how to get to it, since that's what he's asking about.

Op, I went looking but I don't see where anyone has asked about it. If there is I must of missed it.
Hopefully you can get it straightened out.

And when I click the link you have provided it brings up my active listings in the seller hub with 11,203 listings. But I have 11,252 items listed.

Nonetheless, the seller hub should show the same totals as what the public sees.

Consider this: I am checking my inventory to see what needs to be re-ordered. 49 of my listings do not show up in seller hub so I have no way of knowing what, and how many, of those items I have.

The risk becomes that I will order items I don’t really need because I don’t know that they are already listed., Then when they come in and I list them I run the risk of a duplicate listing which is an infraction.

The seller hub page is inaccurate and worthy of a complaint for that inaccuracy.

Further to the above:

I recently went through, using active listings, and changed “all” of my listings from http to https. (or so I thought)

BUT if 49 listings did not show up in seller hub then I have 49 listings that do not have the https links that eBay now requires.

And I have no way of knowing which ones they are.

AND if the active listings is wrong,. how can we be sure that the sold listing page is accurate? I've seen some postings from sellers who complained that a sale didn't show up in the sold items page. That's a late shipment defect just waiting to happen.

I can't help but wonder how many others sellers have the same problem.

You think you fixed them - but did you?

That is odd... on the same ID, you seeing different counts.

ebay rolled out the seller hub, with glitches and warts.

Off topic

A couple years ago there was an ebay glitch, and listings were showing as from a different site.

On my store ID I had 101 listings, but when I looked as the monkey it was 100 listings.

( I just assumed it was an item rolling over, then I read about the problem here )

So I go through all my store items, lo and behold, on one I see the Canada flag, say what, Canada.

I have never been on ebay Canada, ever.

But one of my items was on the Canada site.... and you know what the kicker was.

I checked the listing, no shipping to Canada, or the US, or any place in the world.

But that was different from what you are seeing.

My money is on seller hub glitch.

One more (scary) thought.

If the active listings page is wrong how can we be sure that the sold items page is accurate.

I seem to remember seeing some postings where a seller complained that a sale that was made did not show up in his sold items page. Apparently he discovered it while browsing Paypal which showed the payment, but it didn't show up on his sellers page.

That's a late shipment defect just waiting to happen.
