Account restricted because eBay says “we’ve found a possible discrepancy in the documents as well as the shared information”

I upgrade my ebay private account to a business account in February after opening a company in Portugal. Since I wanted to expand my sales on eBay.

My company is legal and registered with the all the fiscal numbers and it’s registered for vat in OSS - Union Scheme, to comply with the European Union rules for VAT, for online business.

When I upgraded to a business account, I add all the information that was requested by customer support and I ask several times if I was complying with all legal obligations and customer support said that everything was good and I’ve selling for this last 6 months.

But now Customer support says they found discrepancy with the information visible on the documents provided as compared to the eBay account information. And when I ask what it’s the problem they said: “sharing such specifics may lead to circumvention of our guideline”

They also said: “I'm sorry to say that suspension cannot be overturned and you will be unable to use eBay for any future activities. This will our final response for the situation and we will be unable to give a reply for any queries associated with the suspension.”

Ive been an esteem member of ebay family since the last 16 years, I’ve been selling for a long time. I am very shocked with all this situation and did not understood yet what it happened to my account to be restricted.

Ive punished for something that I did not know what it is and Im not allowed to ask.

What policy I violated that ends in this outcome? I've been racking my brain and I can't pinpoint the problem.

Did someone had the same problem when upgrade the account to business?

And how I can talk with a person in the platform by phone? I call the eBay help number and they’re a robot answering all the questions, and you are not able to have a conversation with a person from customer support.

You have to work directly with Ebay to resolve your issues.  No one here can help you.  None of us have any authority to do so as we are just members like you.

 

I would suggest that you contact Ebay for Business on Facebook or Twitter for the better trained CSRs.
